Roughing It
Tent Camping
Enjoy a peaceful tent-camping getaway along the Little Salmon River in Central Idaho.
Our grassy tent-camping area can accommodate everything from solo campers to large groups of bicyclists who return year after year. There’s plenty of open, level space for a few dozen tents, making it an ideal spot for group rides, meet-ups, or anyone wanting a simple connection with Idaho’s outdoors.
Tent guests have convenient access to an outhouse with a flush toilet nearby, as well as a shower reserved just for tent campers. For mealtimes, we’re happy to provide a picnic table upon request.
If you’re looking for quiet, comfort, and a beautiful riverside setting for your camp adventure, Pinehurst has space ready for you.
How many tents are you bringing?
The system uses the “Guests” dropdown to count tents, not people.
We do NOT in any way charge per guest, but ONLY per TENT.
Please select the number of tents you are bringing:
1 tent → choose 1 guest
3 tents → choose 3 guests
8 tents → choose 8 guests
We charge per tent per night.
We DO NOT CHARGE per guest, even though the dropdown asks for guests.
Example – If you have one tent with two people, still only choose one guest. Since “GUEST” in this case means “TENT.”
Tent Camping Spots rent for:
Small tents with 1-2 people
$20 a night per tent plus tax
Groups can register altogether, and if any special accommodations are needed, for example, a line of electricity or firewood, please email us and let us know.

"Super clean and quiet for the right price. We had our RV right on the river with full hook ups, where we could relax, read a book, catch some fish, have a fire, play games, or take a nap in the hammock, We could not have asked for anything more enjoyable. The owners were very accommodating and pleasant."
