About Pinehurst

Pinehurst is a small boutique resort with 7 cabins and 2 RV spaces, as well as 1 parked RV rental.

The resort was built in the 1930s and has been maintained as a place for guests to make memories and relax for over 85 years!

Our resort is right along the Little Salmon River, 13 miles south of Riggins, Idaho, and 22 miles north of New Meadows, Idaho, on Highway 95. We are uniquely located in a canyon, which is one of the deepest gorges in North America.

The area is known as “Idaho’s Whitewater Capital,” with multiple companies offering river trips and excursions in the nearby Salmon River and Snake River.

Meet the Owners

Keith and Vicki pour their hearts into making every guest feel welcomed, cared for, and right at home. For years, they dreamed of owning a campground, and that dream finally came true when they purchased Pinehurst in 2017.

Ever since, they’ve devoted themselves to creating a place where people can rest, reconnect, and feel part of something friendly and genuine. They’re always looking for thoughtful ways to make your stay even better and truly appreciate any feedback you share.

Hospitality isn’t just what they do — it’s who they are. And around here, their motto says it best: “You’re only a stranger once.”

"Super clean and quiet for the right price. We had our RV right on the river with full hook ups, where we could relax, read a book, catch some fish, have a fire, play games, or take a nap in the hammock, We could not have asked for anything more enjoyable. The owners were very accommodating and pleasant."
